LACING TIPS
Many common concerns with fit can be addressed with lacing tips:
Wide Forefoot, High Arches, Heel Slippage, Toe Pain and Too Tight.
Wide Forefoot
- Begin by threading the shoelace only through the sides.
- From the midfoot onwards, start tying with a criss cross.
- Tie up shoe as usual.
High Arches
- Lace up the shoe normally with a criss cross.
- The thread the shoe lace only through the sides.
- Tie up the shoe through the next two eyelets or more as usual.
Heel Slippage
- Lace shoes up as usual until the second to last hole.
- Then go straight up into the last one.
- Thread the shoelace through the hoop onto the other side.
- Tie up shoe as usual.
Toe Pain
- Lace the shoelace from the big toe to the top at the other side.
- Thread the other side of the shoelace diagonally and at the top parallel to the next hole.
- Tie up shoe as usual.
Too Tight
- Thread by feeding shoelaces underneath every other eyelet.
- Tie up shoe as usual.
